Global EdTech Startups Awards 2017

Global EdTech Startups Awards (GESA) is the world’s largest edtech startup competition led by a group of leading education innovation organizations from across the world, including the Spanish education projects company PAU Education (cofounder of the European incubator Open Education Challenge) and the Israeli edtech innovation center Mindcet.

Global EdTech Startups Awards (GESA) is the world’s largest edtech startup competition led by a group of leading education innovation organizations from across the world, including the Spanish education projects company PAU Education (cofounder of the European incubator Open Education Challenge) and the Israeli edtech innovation center Mindcet.

The Awards identify, showcase and recognise the world's most promising EdTech startups for 2017and European startups have a key role to play.

Last year, the three best European startups selected out of more than 100 applicants were Primo Toys (UK), WriteReader (Denmark) and Marbotic (France). They represented Europe at the world final and Primo Toys finished second out of more than 1000 startups from 70 countries and 6 continents.

This year, in addition to cash prizes from up to 50.000 EUR, winners will receive global exposure in the EdTech ecosystem, valuable PR, mentorship and business development opportunities.

The deadline for application submissions will end on September 30.

From October to December we’ll run national events to select the startups that will represent Europe. A European final will take place in Paris in December with the top 10 European startups and the final ceremony will be held in January 2018 at BETT in London. I
